Dr Jane Goodall DBE, Founder, the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace, says: 'Jim Naughten's extraordinary and eye-catching photography brings us up close to some of the glorious animals with whom we share the planet, many of whom face extinction due to human actions. It is obvious that Jim is deeply connected with his subjects, and these photos will surely cause many to wake up to the importance of protecting the natural world. How wonderful that Jim is generously allowing his work to benefit the conservation and educational programmes of the Jane Goodall Institute UK through his exhibition, Eremozoic II, at the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery.'
Jim Naughten and the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery are proud to support the Jane Goodall Institute UK, a community conservation charity advancing the vision and work of its Founder, the world-renowned ethologist and conservationist, Dr Jane Goodall DBE and UN Messenger of Peace.
The Jane Goodall Institute UK supports community-led conservation projects and JGI chimpanzee sanctuaries in the Republic of Congo, Senegal, South Africa and Uganda. It also empowers young people in the UK to become compassionate changemakers through its free environmental and humanitarian schools programme, ‘Roots & Shoots’.
