Head for a superhero mannequin
Artifact from the Lowell Region
During the Silver Age of comics, many stores would have mannequins displaying the superheroes of the popularized comic books that they sold. An issue many faced was that the large number of superheroes being created would require a large amount of individual mannequins, which would be hard to supplement as many were in debts for many reasons. The solution was to purchase a mannequin body, but replace the head with a replaceable superhero head that could be changed to the new hot superhero printed in ink. The identity of this superhero mannequin, like many from the era, are unknown, as many publishers just printed random shit to make money during the time of superhero hysteria.
