Early police sketch of culprit
Unknown sketch artist
Prior to art school being invented by King Arthur in order to produce ways to depict himself to his impoverished countrymen, members of a community who needed to create wanted posters to apprehend those who committed crime simply drew very roughly on rocks and passed it around, hoping to spread the word of a wanted fugitive. This rock depicts a dog, which most likely meant the medieval equivalent of a policeman got distracted by the nobility’s dog and drew that instead of what the king was describing.
